Firefighters Credit Union has supported the firefighting family since its inception in 1976.

The Credit Union has helped many firefighters and their families with both their investments and loan requirements, with a wide range of product and services including today to today savings accounts, cash management call accounts, long and short term, term deposits.

Loans that assist with purchase of housing whether be personal or investment help purchase motor vehicles and other lending FOR any worth while purpose.

Support does not only involve the day to day banking it includes community work with sponsorship awards for graduating recruit classes at both the MFB and CFA. We sponsor events that our members are participating as was our must with the recently completed “Pedal for Prostate” around Australia on bike in 25 days.

A donation to both the Alfred Hospital Burns Unit and RCH Burns Unit from income received from Mortgaging Broking Unit each financial year.

So dedication to the Firefighting family is not only with our day to day operation and product and services, it is with work in the community and support we give to members in what ever they may deal in.
